Schnell wurde Initiative ergriffen und M\u00f6glichkeiten der Unterst\u00fctzung gepr\u00fcft. Eine dieser Ideen war die Durchf\u00fchrung eines Spendenlaufes. F\u00fcr die Laager Laufgruppe war v\u00f6llig klar, dieses Projekt zu unterst\u00fctzen. Kurzerhand wurde der f\u00fcr nicht Wenige anstehende Sonntagstrainingslauf nach Br\u00fcel verlegt. Und trotz der Ferien und der damit verbundenen Urlaubsaktivit\u00e4ten starteten sechzehn L\u00e4uferinnen und L\u00e4ufer beim &#8222;Run for Charity&#8220; in Br\u00fcel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Angeboten wurden Distanzen \u00fcber 6 km und 12 Kilometer. Und diese L\u00e4ufe hatten es echt in sich. Verschiedene Stra\u00dfenbel\u00e4ge, heftige Anstiege und Wind anf\u00e4llige Abschnitte forderten alle Aktiven. Sportlich &#8222;verkauften&#8220; sich die Recknitzst\u00e4dter recht ordentlich. Die 17-j\u00e4hrige Denise Koch konnte mit dem 2. Platz in der Damenkonkurrenz \u00fcber 12 Kilometer stark auftrumpfen. Und auch das Rennen des 11-j\u00e4hrigen Erik Ostertag, in Begleitung seines Vaters \u00fcber die 6 Kilometer Strecke, war sehr ordentlich. Beeindruckender war allerdings das kleine Volksfest rund um den Lauf und die Gastfreundschaft der Menschen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-verse\">Br\u00fcel liegt nahe der mittleren Warnow im n\u00f6rdlichen Bereich der Sternberger Seenlandschaft. Die Stadt wird flankiert durch den Roten See im S\u00fcden, den Keezer See im Westen sowie den Tempziner See und dem Gro\u00df Labenzer See im Norden und Nordosten. Der h\u00f6chste Punkt im Stadtgebiet ist eine unbenannte H\u00f6he s\u00fcdwestlich der Stadt mit 70,2 m \u00fc. HN.
