Mit der 26-j\u00e4hrigen Wolowicz verpflichtet der SSC eine erfahrene Mittelblockerin, so Chef-Coach Felix Koslowski: \u201eMeg konnte in der vergangenen Saison bereits Champions League Erfahrung sammeln. Sie hat au\u00dferdem einen sehr guten einbeinigen Angriff im Repertoire, ist physisch stark und sehr pr\u00e4sent am Netz und erg\u00e4nzt unseren Mittelblock ausgezeichnet.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>F\u00fcr das Team von Felix Koslowski beginnt die Saison am 07.10.2023 mit einem Ausw\u00e4rtsspiel in Aachen, nur eine Woche sp\u00e4ter steigt mit dem Supercup in der Rostocker StadtHalle der mit Spannung erwartete Kampf um den ersten Titel der Saison. Bis dahin gilt es, aus der neuen Mannschaft ein Team zu formen. Neben Spielerinnen wie Linda Bock und Anne H\u00f6lzig wird auch Meg Wolowicz Mitte August in die Vorbereitung der Schwerinerinnen einsteigen, bevor die Nationalspielerinnen nach und nach dazusto\u00dfen. Die Amerikanerin macht mit dem Wechsel nach Deutschland einen weiteren wichtigen Schritt in ihrer Karriere: \u201eIch freue mich riesig auf die Chance, in der kommenden Saison in Schwerin zu spielen. Das Team ist so talentiert und ich kann es kaum erwarten, auf so einem hohen Niveau zu trainieren und zu spielen. Ich will dem Team viel positive Energie geben und dann bin ich gespannt, was wir gemeinsam erreichen k\u00f6nnen,\u201c so die 26-J\u00e4hrige. Mit dem Abschluss in der Tasche wechselte sie f\u00fcr die Saison 2019\/2020 direkt ins Ausland uns lief f\u00fcr den tschechischen Club VK Selmy Brno auf. Weitere Erfahrung sammelte die Mittelblockerin anschlie\u00dfend in der Schweizer Liga beim Team von VB Cheseaux (Saison 2020\/21 und Saison 2021\/22) bevor sie zum spanischen Club CV Tenerife Libby&#8217;s La Laguna wechselte.
