Mit dem deutschlandweiten F\u00f6rderprojekt \u201eTeilhabe VEREINfacht\u201c versucht der Deutsche Behindertensportverband, diesem Status quo entgegenzuwirken. Ab 1. Oktober sind Sportvereine, die die Teilhabem\u00f6glichkeiten f\u00fcr Menschen mit Behinderung in ihrer Region st\u00e4rken wollen, aufgerufen, eine F\u00f6rderung zu beantragen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Das neue F\u00f6rderprojekt richtet sich insbesondere an Sportvereine im Breitensport sowie im Kinder-Rehasport. 200 neue sportartspezifische Breitensportangebote, wie bspw. Rollstuhlbasketball, Goalball, Blindentennis oder Sitzvolleyball, sowie 200 Kinder-Rehasportangebote m\u00f6chte der DBS gemeinsam mit seinen 17 Landes- und zwei Fachverb\u00e4nden in diesem Zusammenhang unterst\u00fctzen. Damit reagiert der DBS auf die niedrige Sportbeteiligung von Menschen mit Behinderung in Deutschland und den Angebotsmangel. Die deutlich h\u00f6here sportliche Inaktivit\u00e4t bei Menschen mit Behinderung im Vergleich zu Menschen ohne Behinderung \u2013 laut drittem Teilhabebericht der Bundesregierung treiben 55 Prozent der Menschen mit Behinderung und 32 Prozent der Menschen ohne Behinderung keinen Sport \u2013 hat f\u00fcr DBS-Pr\u00e4sident Friedhelm Julius Beucher vor allem strukturelle Ursachen: \u201eNur sieben Prozent der knapp 90.000 Sportvereine in Deutschland bieten derzeit Sport f\u00fcr Menschen mit Behinderung an. Hinzu kommt die mangelnde Barrierefreiheit vieler Sportst\u00e4tten. Das Projekt wird aus Mitteln des Bundesministeriums f\u00fcr Arbeit und Soziales (BMAS) finanziert und bietet neben finanzieller Unterst\u00fctzung kostenlose Fortbildungsm\u00f6glichkeiten, Beratung bei der Planung und Umsetzung des Sportangebotes sowie Hilfe beim Netzwerkaufbau und bei der \u00d6ffentlichkeitsarbeit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201eDas Projekt \u201aTeilhabe VEREINfacht\u2018 soll Vereine und \u00dcbungsleiter*innen motivieren und ermutigen, mehr wohnortnahe Sportangebote f\u00fcr Menschen mit Behinderung zu schaffen\u201c, sagt Katrin Kunert, DBS-Vizepr\u00e4sidentin f\u00fcr Breiten-, Pr\u00e4ventions- und Rehabilitationssport, und erg\u00e4nzt. \u201eDas Recht auf Teilhabe existiert f\u00fcr Menschen mit Behinderung erst dann nicht mehr nur auf dem Papier, wenn wir die Rahmenbedingungen im Sport deutschlandweit deutlich verbessern. Mehr wohnortnahe, niedrigschwellige Sportangebote sind ein wichtiger Schritt in Richtung gelebte Teilhabe im Sport und in unserer Gesellschaft.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interessierte Vereine haben vom 1. Oktober bis 19. November 2023 die M\u00f6glichkeit, auf der Projektseite des DBS einen F\u00f6rderantrag zu stellen. Dort gibt es auch Kontakte zu Ansprechpersonen aus dem Projektteam f\u00fcr R\u00fcckfragen.
