3 souver\u00e4ne Siege am zweiten Spieltag im MV-Cup<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Am Sonnabend trafen sich in Neuenkirchen bei Greifswald die vier Rugbymannschaften aus Mecklenburg und Vorpommern, die sonst in der Verbandsliga Nord als RSG MV (Rugbyspielgemeinschaft MV) zusammen eine Mannschaft stellen. Die M\u00e4nner von Fortuna Neuenkirchen hatten zum zweiten Spieltag des MV-Cups geladen, der in der olympischen 7er-Variante gespielt wurde, und die Teams als auch Zuschauende kamen trotz Wind und K\u00e4lte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Rostocker Rugbym\u00e4nner hatten sich f\u00fcr den zweiten Spieltag viel vorgenommen und wollten ihre Dominanz vom ersten Spieltag, der in der heimischen Rugbyarena \u201eOstseeallee\u201c ausgetragen worden war, weiter untermauern. Trainer Martin Gordon Hille forderte von seinem Team nicht weniger als absolute Konzentration auf die eigenen F\u00e4higkeiten sowie die Rugby-Basics, um den Spitzenplatz in der MV-Liga auszubauen. Doch bis die Rostocker ihr K\u00f6nnen zeigen konnte, sollte es etwas l\u00e4nger dauern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Im ersten Spiel zwischen Neuenkirchen und den Freibeutern aus Wismar ereignete sich in der Mitte der zweiten Halbzeit eine ungl\u00fcckliche Kollision zweier Spieler, sodass vorsichtshalber ein Krankenwagen gerufen wurde. Durch die Behandlungspause verz\u00f6gerte sich der weitere Turnierverlauf, sodass alle Spieler bem\u00fcht waren, bei Temperaturen um den Gefrierpunkt nicht auszuk\u00fchlen und das Verletzungsrisiko zu senken. Nach R\u00fccksprache mit der Turnierleitung entschied der souver\u00e4n leitende Schiedsrichter, Carsten Pust-Achilles, das Spiel beim Stand von 22:0 f\u00fcr Wismar abzubrechen und nicht erneut anzupfeifen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Im Anschluss an die Verletzungspause trat Rugby Rostock mit dem Anpfiff gegen Turbine Neubrandenburg \u00fcber die volle Spielzeit auf das Gaspedal. Es wurde sehenswert kombiniert und das Spieltempo konsequent hochgehalten. Dem hatte die Turbine an diesem Nachmittag wenig entgegenzusetzen und so gewannen die Rostocker am Ende verdient mit 48:0. Einziger Wermutstropfen des Spiels war die Muskelverletzung von Spielmacher Johannes Beiker, dessen Spielwitz und Schnelligkeit im Turnierverlauf schmerzlich vermisst wurden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nach einer kurzen Pause zum Durchatmen ging es dann gleich weiter gegen die gastgebenden Fortunen aus Neuenkirchen. Hier spielten die Rostocker weiter ohne Fehl und Tadel und konnten das Ergebnis sogar noch um einen Punkt auf 49:0 steigern. Anschlie\u00dfend fertigte Wismar die Neubrandenburger nahezu ebenso deutlich mit 47:0 ab. Im vorletzten Spiel trafen die Rostocker dann auf die Freibeuter aus Wismar, die sich im Vergleich zum ersten Spieltag des MV-Cups besonders l\u00e4uferisch enorm verbessert zeigten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hier taten sich die M\u00e4nner von der Warnow deutlich schwerer und mussten die ersten Gegenversuche an diesem Turniertag hinnehmen. Einige eindringliche Worte von Coach Hille zeigten nach der Halbzeitpause ihre Wirkung und die Rostocker boten, angef\u00fchrt durch die eingewechselten Routiniers Goeda und Rohde, wieder ihr gesamtes K\u00f6nnen auf. Der Ball lief schneller durch die Rostocker Reihen und die Kontaktsituationen wurden dominant gewonnen. Nach Abpfiff stand ein auch in der H\u00f6he nicht unverdientes Endergebnis von 32:10 an der Anzeigetafel des Stadions \u201eAm Bodden\u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das letzte Spiel des Tages war dann das mit Spannung erwartete Vorpommern Derby zwischen Neuenkirchen und Neubrandenburg. In einer schnellen und f\u00fcr die Zuschauenden ansehnlichen Partie schenkten sich beide Teams nichts und k\u00e4mpften um jeden Zentimeter des vorpommerschen Gr\u00fcns. Erst in der letzten Aktion des Spiels konnten die Neubrandenburger ihren Kapit\u00e4n Armin Sachse freispielen, der dann nur noch ins Malfeld zum viel umjubelten 21:15 Sieg der Turbinen aus Neubrandenburg einlaufen musste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nach Turnierende fand der Rostocker Trainer Martin Gordon Hille nur lobende Worte f\u00fcr die Leistung seiner Mannschaft sowie f\u00fcr das gesamte Turnier: \u201eWir haben heute sehr gut umgesetzt, was wir im Training ge\u00fcbt haben \u2013 schnelles Spiel, bei hohem Spieltempo. Da haben sich die Jungs jetzt das ein oder andere Getr\u00e4nk wirklich verdient. Aber nicht nur wir haben heute gut gespielt. Insgesamt war das Niveau der Spiele, verglichen mit dem ersten Spieltag, deutlich verbessert. Neuenkirchen war ein toller Gastgeber und trotz der Temperaturen war es ein guter Tag f\u00fcr Rugby in MV. Besonderer Dank gilt unseren treuen Supportern, die auch bei Schnee und Eis den Weg nach Vorpommern nicht scheuen und uns so super unterst\u00fctzt haben. Wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf die n\u00e4chste Runde, dann in Wismar.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n
