Rostock – <\/strong>Am Ende jubelten sie gemeinsam mit ihren Fans. Auch im ersten Punktspiel des Jahres 2024 bleiben die Rostock Dolphins in der Nord-Ost-Staffel der dritten Liga zu Hause ungeschlagen und verteidigen nach einem spannenden Spiel durch den 25:22-Erfolg gegen die Frogs-Ladys des SV Henstedt-Ulzburg die Tabellenf\u00fchrung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Es war gleichwohl ein hartes St\u00fcck Arbeit f\u00fcr das Team von Dominic Buttig gegen den Tabellenf\u00fcnften aus Schleswig-Holstein, der in der Hansestadt unter Beweis stellten konnte, dass er zu Recht um die Spitzenpl\u00e4tze der Liga mitk\u00e4mpft. Die G\u00e4ste haben in der vergangenen Woche das Trainerteam ausgetauscht und unter dem neuen Coach Patrick Kohl pr\u00e4sentierten sie sich mit viel Tempo und Selbstbewusstsein. So staunten die Zuschauer nicht schlecht dar\u00fcber, dass es \u00fcber f\u00fcnf Minuten dauerte, bis der Tabellenf\u00fchrer seinen ersten Treffer durch Megan Pieth (3) zum 1:2 erzielte und die G\u00e4ste auch in der 14. Spielminute noch mit 6:5 in F\u00fchrung lagen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die wenigen Tore zeigen, wo bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt das Hauptproblem auf Seiten der Dolphins lag. Es war die Chancenverwertung, die der Rostocker Trainer f\u00fcr die Anfangsphase bei seinen Damen monierte. Allerdings hatten die Gastgeberinnen auch eine gute Abwehr um eine ganz starke Sara Peters, sodass Henstedt-Ulzburg trotzdem in Reichweite blieb. Es war die Deckung, die dem Team auch im Angriff die n\u00f6tige Sicherheit bot und so drehten die Einheimischen die Partie. Beim 8:6 (20.) durch ihre erfolgreichste Werferin Nele Reimer (9) lagen die Delfine erstmals mit zwei Treffern in F\u00fchrung und dieser Vorsprung hatte auch zur Pause beim 12:10 noch Bestand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Den besseren Start in Durchgang zwei erwischten die Einheimischen. Jana Kokot (3), Jette K\u00f6ppen (3), Patryca Drewnik (5) und Nele Reimer erh\u00f6hten auf 16:10 (37.), aber eine Vorentscheidung war dieses noch nicht. Die G\u00e4ste \u00fcberzeugten durch ihren Kampfgeist und kamen so wieder heran, hatten beim 18:19 (50.) den Anschluss wieder hergestellt und glichen beim 20:20 (52.) sogar erneut aus. Doch auch der Tabellenf\u00fchrer zeigte in einem sicher nicht hochklassigen, aber spannenden Spiel viel Moral und konnte sich nach dem 21:21 entscheidend auf 24:21 (54.) absetzen. Es waren vor allem die Paraden von Sara Peters, die ihrem Team in dieser Phase den n\u00f6tigen R\u00fcckhalt gaben. Den Schlusspunkt setzte dann Nele Reimer, die den 25:22 Endstand erzielte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

W\u00e4hrend sich das Team von seinen Fans f\u00fcr den gelungenen Jahresauftakt feiern lie\u00df, analysierte Dominic Buttig: \u201eEs war sicherlich nicht unsere beste Saisonleistung. Gerade in der Anfangsphase haben wir extrem viele Fahrkarten geschossen. Zu Beginn der zweiten Halbzeit haben wir dann sehr gut verteidigt, aber dann gab es erneut eine Schw\u00e4chephase, in der wir vor zu viele Fehler machen und auch keinen richtigen Zugriff in der Abwehr mehr kriegen. Zum Gl\u00fcck hatten wir eine starke Sara (Peters\/Red.) heute im Tor, die uns da in der Crunchtime den Allerwertesten gerettet hat, das muss man mal so sagen. Nichtsdestotrotz muss man solche Spiele am Ende erst einmal gewinnen. Wir haben in Richtung einer m\u00f6glichen Aufstiegsrunde noch viel Arbeit vor uns, aber wir haben ja noch ein wenig Zeit\u201c, so der Trainer zum Abschluss mit einem Augenzwinkern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nicht viel Zeit haben die Dolphins allerdings bis zum n\u00e4chsten Heimspiel, steht doch bereits am kommenden Samstag die Partie gegen die SG Todesfelde\/Leezen auf dem Programm. Anwurf in der Rostocker Fiete-Reder-Halle ist um 18:00 Uhr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
