Das Bowl-In zog MVs beste Herren- und Damendoppel in die Landeshauptstadt<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Schwerin <\/strong>– So viele Strikes an nur einem Tag werden nicht oft auf den Bowlingbahnen des Schweriner Bowl-In geworfen. Aber der vergangene Sonntag war auch kein normaler Wochenendtag. Denn am Sl\u00fcter Ufer trafen sich die besten Bowlerinnen und Bowler des Landes um die Zwischenrunde und das Finale der Doppelmeisterschaften auszuspielen. Bereits am Vormittag sollte sich entscheiden, welche jeweils sechs Doppel in das Finale einziehen w\u00fcrden. Die 18 Herrenduos ermittelten ihre Qualifikanten in drei, die acht Damendoppel in zwei Durchg\u00e4ngen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Medaillenhoffnungen f\u00fcr den 1. BC Rostock ruhten sowohl auf die amtierenden Deutschen Meisterinnen Florentine Burmeister\/Stefanie Rose als auch auf die Paarung Tanja Nickel \/Cindy Sommer. Die aussichtsreichsten m\u00e4nnlichen Doppel waren Alexander Krempin\/Ralf Polkow und Martin Haecker\/Jan Liermann. Auch der BC Schwerin zeigte klare Ambitionen auf die Medaillenr\u00e4nge. Aussichtsreichste Chancen versprachen sich die beiden Damendoppel Backhaus\/Zirr und Poblenz\/Poblenz (Inhaberinnen einer Doppelmitgliedschaft beim 1. BC Rostock und beim BC Schwerin), das Vater-Sohn-Gespann Dirk & Matthias Steffen sowie Jens St\u00fcdemann mit seinem Partner Marco Milbradt (ABC Rostock Strikers).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mit einer b\u00e4renstarken Zwischenrunde spielten sich das Schwesterduo Katja und Maike Poblenz von Platz sieben in der Vorrunde auf Platz zwei vor. Im Finalspiel sprang f\u00fcr beide nach solider Leistung die Bronzemedaille heraus. Den Titel sicherten sich die amtierenden Deutschen Meisterinnen Florentine Burmeister und Stefanie Rose vor Reingard Backhaus\/Franziska Zirr. Wenn es auch nicht zu einer Medaille reichte, konnten sich die Rostockerinnen Nickel\/Sommer mit dem 4. Platz ebenfalls f\u00fcr die Deutsche Meisterschaft qualifizieren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Im Round-Robin Baker Finale der Herren siegten zum ersten Mal in dieser Konstellation Alexander Krempin\/Ralf Polkow (1. BC Rostock), womit beide Meistertitel an den 1. BC Rostock gehen. Vizemeister wurde das Schwerin-Rostocker Paarung St\u00fcdemann\/Milbradt. Platz drei sicherten Haecker\/Liermann.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00dcberraschenderweise spielten sich die Landeshauptst\u00e4dter Steffen\/Steffen mit Platz 7 der Zwischenrunde aus der Finalrunde raus. Die Medaillenhoffnungen waren damit fr\u00fchzeitig dahin. Derweil spielten sich die Schweriner \u201eOldies\u201c Rene Linde und Uwe Poblenz sowie Heiko Hacker mit Partner Rene Steller (HCC BC Rostock) in die Gruppe der besten 6. Mit der Medaillenvergabe hatten beide Duos aber nichts zu tun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
