Schwerin –<\/strong> Nach der erfolgreichen Er\u00f6ffnung der Segelsaison am 1. Mai folgte am 11. Mai der erste Wettkampf \u2014 die Marathonregatta. Dieses Jahr nahmen erfolgreich elf Kuttermannschaften teil, unter anderem auch der amtierende Deutsche Meister: die \u201eWeltenbummler\u201c mit Steuermann Heiko Grambow. Es starteten erstmals vier Jugendmannschaften. Zwei aus Anklam und Wolgast sowie zwei vom Schweriner Marineclub e.V. (SMC). Pr\u00e4miere hatte die Jugendmannschaft der Padua-Crew aus Schwerin. Zum ersten Mal segelten die 16-J\u00e4hrigen eigenverantwortlich ohne erwachsenen Bootsf\u00fchrer. So kann der SMC nach der Pamir-Crew langsam auch der zweiten Jugendcrew die Verantwortung \u00fcbertragen. Die neue Mannschaft aus 12- und 13-J\u00e4hrigen steht in den Startl\u00f6chern und beginnt in dieser Woche das erste gemeinsame Segeltraining.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Wie jedes Jahr wurde die Marathonregatta vom Schweriner Marineclub ausgerichtet. Um der erwarteten Windflaute entgegenzuwirken, wurde das Prinzip der Marathonregatta f\u00fcr dieses Jahr probehalber ver\u00e4ndert und lief als Test f\u00fcr die Deutsche Meisterschaft. In der Vergangenheit wurden ein bis zwei Einzelwettfahrten als Langstrecke gesegelt. Doch dieses Jahr wurde eine k\u00fcrzere Langstrecke auf dem Schweriner Innensee festgelegt. Sie startete am Schloss, verlief dann in H\u00f6he Zippendorf, rundete die Inseln Kaninchen- und Ziegelwerder und endete bei G\u00f6rslow. Von da aus wurden nach der Langstrecke noch vier Up-and Down-Kurse gesegelt. Dieses Prinzip hat sehr gut funktioniert und es wurde ein toller Wettkampf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201eEs f\u00fchlt sich gut an, dass die Schweriner Segelvereine wieder so gut zusammenarbeiten und sich unterst\u00fctzen. Ich bedanke mich bei Peter Mertens, Thomas Sachs, Bernd Mau vom Yachtclub Schwerin sowie Matthias Kliemchen vom Mecklenburger Segelverein f\u00fcr die fachliche Unterst\u00fctzung in der Vorbereitung und Durchf\u00fchrung der Regatta. Ein weiterer Dank geht an die Crew des ,Albatros\u2018 vom Albatros Umwelt und Natur e.V., die mit ihrem Boot zur Absicherung der Regatta beigetragen haben\u201c, sagt Pierre Kuhlmann, Vorsitzender des Schweriner Marineclub e.V.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Als Sieger ging am Ende der Regatta die \u201eCutty Sark\u201c mit Steuermann Matthias Ott nach Hause. Zweiter wurde die \u201e7 Seas\u201c mit Steuermann Christian Wandel. Platz 3 belegte die \u201eHabakuk 2\u201c mit Steuermann Malte Sauerbrey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Am 15.
