September 2024 in Berlin teil. Das Sportgymnasium Schwerin geht mit 24 Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmern in den Ruderwettk\u00e4mpfen an den Start. In diesem Jahr gibt es f\u00fcr die Ruderinnen und Ruderer v\u00f6llig neue Regeln. Das Rudern ist ein reiner Teamwettbewerb mit drei Bootsklassen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>WK III (Altersklasse 12-14): Zweier, Doppelvierer und Gig-Doppelvierer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>WK II (Altersklasse 15-17) Doppelvierer, Gig-Doppelvierer und Achter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>F\u00fcr die jungen Sportlerinnen und Sportler reicht es nicht, sich auf eine Bootsklasse zu konzentrieren. Sie m\u00fcssen sich breit aufstellen und in mindestens zwei Bootsklassen vorne dabei sein, um im Gesamtergebnis eine Rolle zu spielen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Erstmals f\u00fcr das Sportgymnasium Schwerin ist auch ein M\u00e4dchenteam dabei. In der WK III gehen Paula Sch\u00f6pp, Elisabeth Kr\u00fcger, Ylvi Hochleutner, Fiona Motullo, Lujain Al Wazir mit Steuermann Ben Leipold an den Start. \u201eBei der ersten Teilnahme geht es darum, Erfahrungen zu sammeln und die \u00e4ltere Konkurrenz vielleicht ein bisschen zu \u00fcberraschen. Aber die Jungs haben schon oft bewiesen, dass sie zu den besten Ruderern ihrer Jahrg\u00e4nge geh\u00f6ren\u201c, betonte Flaschmann.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In der WK II der Jungen wird das Sportgymnasium Schwerin von Birk L\u00fcbbert, Ole Hodea, Hans Liberka, Tim Wilke, Hugo Jacob, Leo Jacob, Eicke Ple\u00df, Pepe Jonuscheit, Wilm M\u00f6ller, Jordan Lenz und Steuermann Eddi Flack vertreten. \u201eDie Jungs werden alles geben, um eine Medaille mit nach Hause zu bringen, wobei auch hier niemand wei\u00df, wie sich die neuen Regeln auswirken. Das Team ist noch sehr jung im Vergleich zur Konkurrenz, im kommenden Jahr k\u00f6nnen zehn der elf Ruderer noch einmal in der Altersklasse starten. Dennoch lassen die guten Trainingseinheiten in diesem Jahr auf vordere Platzierungen hoffen\u201c, so Trainer Flaschmann.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Im Rahmen von \u201eJugend trainiert f\u00fcr Olympia &amp; Paralympics\u201c wird au\u00dferdem der deutsche Sch\u00fcler-Achter-Cup ausgefahren. Die besten deutschen Schulrudervereine und Sch\u00fclerruderriegen rudern in Berlin-Gr\u00fcnau im Achter um die Medaillen. Schwerin nimmt als neu gegr\u00fcndete Sch\u00fclerruderriege erstmals teil.
