Vor einigen Tagen sind auf Malta die IPF-Weltmeisterschaften im Powerlifting\/Kraftdreikampf der Jugend und Junioren zu Ende gegangen. 12 Tage lang k\u00e4mpften Teilnehmer:innen von rund um den Globus um Gewichte und pers\u00f6nliche Bestleistungen. Eine unter ihnen: die 18-j\u00e4hrige Greifswalderin Maria-Sophie Hinz. Sie ist schon l\u00e4ngst keine Unbekannte mehr auf der internationalen B\u00fchne. Im vergangenen Jahr machte sie mit ihrem ersten WM-Titel im Bankdr\u00fccken auf sich aufmerksam. 2024 folgte der Zweite. National geh\u00f6rt sie schon etwas l\u00e4nger zum Who is Who ihrer Altersklasse. Und nun in Valletta, bei ihrer Premiere im internationalen KDK-Wettstreit, folgte mit Platz 5 in der Gewichtsklasse -69kg (Kategorie Classic) die n\u00e4chste au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlichen Leistung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
„Es war eine super tolle und unvergessliche Erfahrung“, so die Vorzeigeathletin des Greifenpower e.V. „Ich habe viel \u00fcber meinen K\u00f6rper gelernt und wie Reisen, eine andere Atmosph\u00e4re etc. meine Performance beeinflussen.“ Die Bench-Press-Spezialistin durfte am 8. Wettkampftag auf die B\u00fchne des ORACLE Conference Centre. Eingewogen mit leichten 65,7kg erzielte sie dort top Leistungen in den Disziplinen Kniebeugen, Bankdr\u00fccken und Kreuzheben. Mit zusammen 420 kg verpasste sie das Podest zwar nur knapp. Im Vergleich zur letzten Deutschen Meisterschaft, bei der sie sich den Titel sicherte, steigerte sie sich noch einmal um beeindruckende 20 Kilogramm. In Valletta nicht zu \u00fcberbieten war die Finnin Juuli Kostian. Mit 480 kg und \u00fcberragendem Abstand sicherte sie sich Gold vor der Franz\u00f6sin Elise Bouvier (437 kg) und der Tschechin Lucie Knourkova (435 kg).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Maria-Sophie Hinz durfte in der maltesischen Hauptstadt dann aber doch noch einmal aufs Podest, w\u00e4hrend der Ehrung in den Einzelwertungen. So wiederholte die Greifswalderin im Bankdr\u00fccken ihren vor wenigen Wochen aufgestellten deutschen Rekord von 102,5kg. Damit setzte sie dich auf Platz 2, hinter der Finnin Kostian. Trainer und Verein zeigten sich entsprechend Stolz auf ihren Sch\u00fctzling. „Wir gratulieren zu dieser au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlichen Leistung und dr\u00fccken die Daumen f\u00fcr die bevorstehende Europameisterschaft“, l\u00e4sst das Greifenpower-Team auf Social Media wissen. Hinz selbst blickt derweil schon auf die n\u00e4chsten Weltmeisterschaften: „Ich m\u00f6chte darauf aufbauen um dann in den n\u00e4chsten Jahren auf das (Total)Podium kommen.“<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In Valletta waren neben Maria-Sophie Hinz auch weitere BVDK-Kaderathlet:innen am Start. Aufs Treppchen schafften es aber nur die Frauen. Den gr\u00f6\u00dften Erfolg im deutschen Team verbuchte die Gem\u00fcnderin (NRW) Helena Mariella Decker f\u00fcr sich. In der Klasse bis 57 kg holte die 23-j\u00e4hrige Kraftdreik\u00e4mpferin Gold und verteidigte so ihren WM-Titel vom vergangenen Jahr. Ebenfalls Bronze ging an Lara Hinz aus Wiesbaden. Im Wettbewerb Women equipped (84+ kg) musste sie nur der Norwegerin Lierhagen und der US-Amerikanerin Lee den Vortritt lassen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
