In den vergangenen knapp 15 Jahren ist das vereinseigene Programm \u201cBasketball macht Schule\u201d enorm gewachsen. Derzeit ist der Verein an 26 der 28 Rostocker Grundschulen und an allen 28 Oberschulen der Hanse- und Universit\u00e4tsstadt mit insgesamt 112 Basketball-AGs vertreten. W\u00f6chentlich werden durch das Sportangebot etwa 1.800 Sch\u00fcler*innen in Bewegung und mit Basketball in Verbindung gebracht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">KINDER ST\u00c4RKEN \u2013 KINDER BEWEGEN<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Nun wird das Programm auf das Bundesland Mecklenburg-Vorpommern ausgeweitet. Der neu gegr\u00fcndete Verein \u201cBasketball macht Schule e.V.\u201d hat sich auf Fahnen geschrieben, an jeder Grundschule in M-V ein Basketballangebot zu schaffen und eine M-V-weite Grundschulmeisterschaft durchzuf\u00fchren. Hierbei handelt es sich um insgesamt 512 Schul-AGs und \u00fcber 5.000 Kinder und Jugendliche, die im Fl\u00e4chenland M-V w\u00f6chentlich mit dem orangefarbenen Leder Sport treiben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der Seawolves-Vorstandsvorsitzende Andr\u00e9 J\u00fcrgens \u00fcber die Gr\u00fcndung: \u201cMit diesem Verein wollen wir unser Programm Basketball macht Schule weiter ausbauen und professionalisieren. Das und vor allem auf ganz Mecklenburg-Vorpommern ausgerollt werden. Wir wollen damit weiterhin unserer sozialen Verantwortung gerecht werden. Es ist f\u00fcr uns eine Herzensangelegenheit, Kinder in Bewegung zu bringen und Kinder zu st\u00e4rken.
