Das Internationale Ostalbturnier in Aalen, das traditionell zahlreiche Nachwuchsringer aus Deutschland und Europa nach Schwaben zieht, lud am vergangenen Sonntag zum 44. Mal auf die Matten. Immer ist die Beteiligung beeindruckend. Das kommt nat\u00fcrlich nicht von ungef\u00e4hr. Schlie\u00dflich z\u00e4hlt der KSV Aalen zu den erfolgreichsten Ringerstaffeln Deutschlands. Und auch in diesem Jahr war das Interesse am Freistil-Turnier f\u00fcr A- bis C-Jugendliche beachtlich. Knapp 200 junge Athleten und Athletinnen (Jahrg\u00e4nge 2007 bis 2013) aus 49 Vereinen hatten daf\u00fcr teils sehr lange Weg auf sich genommen. Sie kamen aus der ganzen Republik, aus der Schweiz, Ungarn, Tschechien und sogar Estland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Unter die deutschen Startern mischte sich auch ein junger Ringer aus Grimmen. Janosch Thorin Lange vom Athletic Energy Grimmen e.V. wollte in der Klasse U12 bis 46kg angreifen. Begleitet wurde er dabei von seinem Heimtrainer. „Zwar waren wir nur mit einem Starter vor Ort, der hat daf\u00fcr 100 Prozent gegeben und direkt Gold geholt“, freut Mathias Schuck \u00fcber das Abschneiden seines Sch\u00fctzlings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Janosch bekam es in seiner Gewichtsklasse mit 2 Kontrahenten zu tun. Im ersten Kampf gegen einen Sportsfreund aus Berlin rang er einen sicheren 4:0 Punktsieg nach Hause. Im 2. Kampf nahm der junge Mann aus Grimmen dann Fahrt auf und er schulterte seinen Gegner aus Herbrechtingen (Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg) noch in der ersten Kampfh\u00e4lfte. Damit war ihm der Turniersieg sicher. „Ein toller Erfolg im \u00fcber 800 km entfernten Aalen“, erz\u00e4hlt Trainer Schuck. Die Goldmedaille bescherte dem Grimmener Verein sogar den 32. Platz in der Mannschaftswertung. Bemerkenswert bei nur einem Starter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mit Edelmetall im Gep\u00e4ck und mit bester Laune begab sich das Trainer-Sportler-Gespann noch am selben Tag wieder auf den lange Heimweg. Was streng genommen die n\u00e4chste sportliche H\u00f6chstleistung war. „Dann sa\u00dfen wir direkt im Anschluss, um 16:40 im Auto und sind wieder nach Hause ged\u00fcst. Dann waren wir ziemlich zeitlich zur\u00fcck sogar, sind gut durchgekommen“, berichtet Schuck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
F\u00fcr Janosch und weitere top AEG-Ringer hei\u00dft es bald wieder \u201eBorn to Fight Grimmen\u201c. So stehen in den n\u00e4chsten zwei Monaten u.a. ein Freistilwettkampf in Jena und der Ladys-Cup in Chemnitz auf dem Programm. Besonderes Augenmerk legen Mathias Schuck und sein Trainerstab zudem auf drei hochkar\u00e4tige Vorbereitungsturniere f\u00fcr die anstehenden Meisterschaftswettk\u00e4mpfe 2025. So geht es f\u00fcr den Grimmener Kader demn\u00e4chst nach Polen und Finnland sowie ins benachbarte Torgelow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
