Die Profi-Premiere f\u00fcr den traditionsreichen Boxclub, einen der erfolgreichsten Amateur-Boxclubs weltweit, geht in der Schweriner Palmberg-Arena \u00fcber die B\u00fchne. Den Hauptkampf des Box-Events bestreitet der ungeschlagene Profi-Box-Europameister Denis Radovan: Zudem steigen sechs Top-Traktor Amateure in den Ring; vier von ihnen feiern ihr Profi-Deb\u00fct, zwei haben es bereits hinter sich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der BC Traktor Schwerin stellt die sieben Boxer in einer Portr\u00e4treihe vor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Heute: Kevin Boakye-Schumann, Supermittelgewicht (76,203 Kg)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Er geh\u00f6rt zu den beiden Traktor-Boxern, die ihr Profi-Deb\u00fct bereits absolviert haben \u2013 Kevin Boakye-Schumann. F\u00fcr den Hamburger Supermittelgewichtler war das eine kurzfristige Angelegenheit: Kevin schlug Anfang Oktober in Hamburgs Gro\u00dfer Freiheit 36, auf der Reeperbahn, den erfahrenen M\u00fcnchner Florian Wildenhof (44 Profi-K\u00e4mpfe, 31 Siege) gleich in Runde eins K.o. \u2013 mit einem schweren rechten Haken aufs linke Ohr. \u201eIch lass\u2018 im Ring nix anbrennen\u201c, sagt Kevin selbstbewusst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Das ist dem austrainierten Athleten auch bei den Amateuren weitgehend gelungen. In 140 Amateurk\u00e4mpfen erstritt er 115 Siege. Das Box-Handwerk erlernte Kevin Boakye Schumann ab 2016 bei seinem Heimatverein TH Eilbeck, einem Leistungsst\u00fctzpunkt des BC Traktor Schwerin. Sein Lehrmeister war der erfahrene Coach Andre Walther. Kevins Amateurkarriere verlief lange geradlinig: Deutscher U21-Meister 2018 und 2019, U22 Vize-Europameister 2021, 2019 Deutscher Meister, Elite. Doch dann platzte die Olympia Teilnahme 2024 \u2013 ein B\u00e4nderriss im Fu\u00df stoppte den ehrgeizigen K\u00e4mpfer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beruflich l\u00e4uft es f\u00fcr den geb\u00fcrtigen Hamburger, dessen Eltern aus Ghana stammen, gut. Kevin studiert bei WINGS, dem Fernstudienanbieter der FH Wismar, Sportmanagement \u2013 er will auch nach Ende der Aktiven-Karriere dem Boxsport treu bleiben \u2013 ob als Manager, Berater oder Vereinschef, ist noch offen. Jedenfalls sollen ihn eine Verletzung oder ausbleibende Leistungen als Sportler nicht mehr zur\u00fcckwerfen k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Doch ans Aufh\u00f6ren ist f\u00fcr den smarten und boxerisch wie verbal schlagfertigen Modellathleten noch nicht zu denken. Sein Ziel ist es, einmal Profi-Boxweltmeister zu werden.
