F\u00fcr die wetteifernden Nachwuchswasserspringer und -springerinnen des WSC Rostock ging es am Samstag einmal nicht ins Wasser. Statt dessen fanden sich die Jungen und M\u00e4dchen der Jahrg\u00e4nge 2015 bis 2019 in der \u201eUnteren Turnhalle\u201c der Neptunschwimmhalle zum gemeinsamen Landwettkampf ein. Inhalte waren Trampolin- und Bodenturn\u00fcbung, Liegest\u00fctze, Handst\u00e4nde, Kopfst\u00e4nde, Beweglichkeit der Schulter, H\u00fcfte, F\u00fc\u00dfe, Ausgangsstellung, Trockenbrettspr\u00fcnge, Bauchmuskel\u00fcbungen & vieles mehr. Gleichzeitig war der Wettkampf f\u00fcr die 7- bis 9-J\u00e4hrigen eine DSV-\u00dcberpr\u00fcfung f\u00fcr den Bundesst\u00fctzpunkt Rostock. Ziel war es, daf\u00fcr erforderliche Normpunkte zu erreichen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

„Wasserspringer erarbeiten sich ihre Grundlagen an Land! Alle Sportler haben ihr Bestes gegeben und aufgeregt ihre \u00dcbungen absolviert“, wei\u00df der WSC-Medienbeauftragte Maik Steinhagen. „Am Ende wei\u00df jeder, wo er steht, was schon gut funktioniert und wo man noch ehrgeizig trainieren muss.“<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Innerhalb des WSC-Trainerteams zeigt man sich stolz auf den sportlichen Nachwuchs. Speziell weil dieser lange Zeit ohne Wassertraining durchgehalten habe. Aufgrund von Sanierungsarbeiten war die 25-Meter-Halle seit Mitte Juli gesperrt. Mit inbegriffen, eine einmonatige Verz\u00f6gerung der Bauarbeiten. Ein Teil des Rostocker Kaders musste f\u00fcr ad\u00e4quate Trainings sogar nach Berlin, Leipzig oder Dresden ausweichen. Nun geht es f\u00fcr die gro\u00dfen und kleinen Vereinsmitglieder endlich wieder weiter. „Ab Montag freuen wir uns alle auf die Wasserspr\u00fcnge“, l\u00e4sst der WSC wissen. Zumindest bis zur n\u00e4chsten Sperrung ab Juli 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
