Jette Ko\u0308rner setzt Meilenstein bei WAKO-Europameisterschaft in Athen<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Die WAKO-Kickbox-Europameisterschaft 2024 in Athen war ein aufregendes und mitrei\u00dfendes Event. Es vereinte die besten Athletinnen und Athleten aus ganz Europa. Von Beginn an wurden dem Publikum spannende und hart umk\u00e4mpfte Matches auf h\u00f6chstem Level geboten. Die diesj\u00e4hrige Meisterschaft war dabei besonders bedeutend, da die Sieger zur Weltmeisterschaft nach China, zu den World Games, weiterziehen \u2013 dem H\u00f6hepunkt des internationalen Kickboxens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In der K1-Kategorie sollte eine Rostockerin f\u00fcr Aufsehen sorgen. Die amtierende Deutsche Meisterin der Gewichtsklasse bis 70 kg, Jette Ko\u0308rner, stieg f\u00fcr ihren Polizeisportverein in den Ring. Und die beeindruckende Atmosph\u00e4re im Athener Olympiastadion lag der 33-J\u00e4hrigen. Dem hart erk\u00e4mpften Auftaktsieg folgte eine beeindruckende Leistung gegen die erfahrene serbische Weltmeisterin Krstic. Zwar verlor K\u00f6rner. Am Ende des Tages durfte sie sich aber \u00fcber den geteilten 5. Platz freuen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

„Wir sind unglaublich stolz auf unsere Championin“, freut man sich in K\u00f6rners Team. Nicht ohne die Arbeit des Cheftrainers zu w\u00fcrdigen: „Coach Hatahet hat unz\u00e4hlige Stunden ins Training mit Jette investiert und sie auf dieses hohe Leistungsniveau gebracht. Sein Engagement war entscheidend, und das Teamwork der beiden ist eine gro\u00dfe Quelle des Stolzes f\u00fcr unseren gesamten Verein.“ Extra zur Unterst\u00fctzung nach Athen angereist war auch PSV-Vereinspr\u00e4sident Marko Z\u00fclske. „Sein Engagement ist symbolisch f\u00fcr unseren Verein“, zeigt sich die Abteilungsleitung dankbar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mit Blick auf Zukunft ist das Team um Rateb Hatahet entschlossen, das intensive Training fortzusetzen. So wolle man neben Jette K\u00f6rner auch alle anderen PSV-Athleten und -Athletinnen optimal auf die Turniere im kommenden Jahr vorbereiten. „Unser gro\u00dfes Ziel ist die Weltmeisterschaft in den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten.“<\/p>\n\n\n\n
