Schon die J\u00fcngsten duellieren sich mit 35 km\/h auf dem Eis. Dabei ist der Sport nicht ungef\u00e4hrlich und damit sehr materialintensiv. Allein die Ausr\u00fcstung f\u00fcr eine:n Sportler:in geht in den 4-stelligen Eurobereich. Spezielle Short Track Schlittschuhe, die Schutzausr\u00fcstung bestehend aus einem schnittfesten Anzug, schnittfesten Handschuhen, einem Short Track Helm, Schienbeinschonern dazu ein Laufanzug und eine Sportbrille &#8211; da kommt einiges zusammen. Obenauf die Kosten f\u00fcr Wettkampffahrten, Kadertrainings, Workshops\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beim ESV Turbine Rostock ist der imposante Wintersport seit Jahrzehnten Teil der Vereinshistorie. Seither machen deren Spitzenkader immer wieder mit gro\u00dfer Leidenschaft und Engagement auf sich aufmerksam. Und auch heute haben die Kinder und Jugendlichen im Alter von 4 bis 18 Jahren, die bis zu sechs Tagen w\u00f6chentlich trainieren, gro\u00dfe Tr\u00e4ume. Sie wollen wie die ESV-Aush\u00e4ngeschilder Betty Moeske, Svea Rothe, Adrian L\u00fcdtke oder Moritz Kreuseler an World Cups, Europa- und Weltmeisterschaften teilnehmen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deshalb hat die Short Track Abteilung eine Crowdfunding-Aktion auf der Plattform &#8222;99 Funken&#8220; gestartet. Mindestens 4.000 m\u00f6chte man sammeln. Initiatorin Ivonne Bolt, selbst Nachwuchstrainerin und ehemalige Leistungssportlerin beim ESV, wei\u00df: &#8222;Jeder von euch kann einen Unterschied machen. Helft uns mit euren Spenden die Tr\u00e4ume unserer Kinder wahr werden zu lassen und ihnen die Chance zu geben, \u00fcber sich hinauszuwachsen.&#8220; Noch bis zum 15.12.2024 l\u00e4uft das Funding-Projekt. Bis dahin k\u00f6nnen Familienmitglieder, Fans, Unternehmen und Organisationen in und um Rostock noch flei\u00dfig Spenden. Die H\u00f6he der Zuwendung kann jeder frei w\u00e4hlen.
