12. Youth Diving Meet in Dresden ist wichtige Standortbestimmung vor den Jugend-Europameisterschaften<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Beim 12th International Youth Diving Meet (YDM) in Dresden sammelten die jungen Athletinnen und Athleten vom Wasserspringerclub Rostock wertvolle internationale Erfahrung. Der traditionsreiche Wettkampf gilt als einer der bedeutendsten Jugendwettbewerbe weltweit und bot starke Konkurrenz aus Europa, Kanada und Australien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

F\u00fcr die Rostocker Springerinnen und Springer Jella Kiphut, Zo\u00e9 Schneider, Aliana Reihs, Iven Prenzyna, Finn Awe und Mahi Gruchow war der Wettkampf eine wichtige Standortbestimmung im Hinblick auf die bevorstehenden Deutschen Sommermeisterschaften in Halle (Saale) \u2013 und die Qualifikation f\u00fcr die Jugend-Europameisterschaften in Athen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besonders hervorzuheben sind die Leistungen von Jella (B-Jugend) und Zo\u00e9 (A-Jugend), die sich jeweils vom 3m-Brett als beste Deutsche auf Rang f\u00fcnf sprangen. Im 1m-Wettkampf verpasste Jella als drittbeste Deutsche knapp den Finaleinzug. Auch Finn zeigte sich nach einem schw\u00e4cheren 1m-Auftritt (Platz 16) vom 3m-Brett verbessert und wurde ebenfalls mit Platz 5 bester Deutscher im Finale. Iven belegte vom Turm im Vorkampf Rang sieben, verpasste jedoch ebenfalls das Finale, da nur die zwei besten Deutschen weiterkamen. In den Synchrondisziplinen erreichten Aliana und Zo\u00e9 sowie Finn und Mahi jeweils starke Punktzahlen, fielen aber als zweitbeste deutsche Paare aus der offiziellen Wertung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

„In der vergangenen Woche stand beim Internationalen Youth Diving Meet in Dresden das Sammeln von internationalen Erfahrungen f\u00fcr alle Beteiligten an erster Stelle. So starteten Zo\u00e9, Iven, Finn (A-Jugend) und Jella (B-Jugend) erstmalig in der jeweils h\u00f6heren Altersklasse auf internationalem Top-Niveau beim YDM. Au\u00dferdem sollte es f\u00fcr Finn und Mahi ein letzter Test vor der JEM-Qualifikation im 3m-Synchronspringen sein.

Der j\u00e4hrlich stattfindende Wettkampf ist mit den europ\u00e4ischen Spitzentalenten und den besten Teilnehmern aus Australien und Kanada gespickt. Und auch dieses Mal leisteten sich die Sportler aus aller Welt einen spannenden Abtausch. Auf der Haben-Seite steht in diesem Jahr leider keine Medaille, jedoch zahlreiche Finalteilnahmen und knapp verpasste Chancen auf das Treppchen. Finn konnte sich als bester Deutscher vom 3m-Brett in der A-Jugend etablieren und konnte im Synchronspringen mit Mahi leider nicht die Trainingsleistung abrufen.

Jella verpasste von 3m mit weniger als einem Punkt das Treppchen und das, obwohl sie eine der wenigen Teilnehmerinnen aus dem j\u00fcngeren Jahrgang der B-Jugend war. Iven verpasste vom Turm knapp das Finale als dritter deutscher Teilnehmer. Aliana und Zo\u00e9 setzten sich im 3m-Synchronspringen leider nicht gegen das zweite deutsche Paar durch, die den Sieg holten. Zo\u00e9 sprang sich vom 3m-Brett auf Platz 5 und wurde beste Deutsche.

Alle Teilnehmer bereiten sich nun auf die Qualifikation in Halle (Saale) f\u00fcr die Junioren-EM in Athen (GRE) vor und arbeiten am letzten Feinschliff ihrer Spr\u00fcnge und vor allem an der Stabilisation der guten Trainingsleistung, um diese im Wettkampf abzurufen.“<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

„Die Ergebnisse bei YDM waren nicht gut. Wir h\u00e4tten besser abschneiden k\u00f6nnen, aber dieser Wettkampf ist f\u00fcr uns nicht so wichtig \u2013 es ist ein Zwischenstart. Jetzt werden wir uns mit dem Trainerteam zusammensetzen und die Leistungen unserer Athleten analysieren. Gemeinsam werden wir schauen, wo wir etwas verbessern und erg\u00e4nzen m\u00fcssen, denn in zwei Wochen steht ein wichtiger Wettkampf und die Qualifikation f\u00fcr die Jugend-Europameisterschaft an.

Auch f\u00fcr mich ist es nicht leicht, da ich nicht immer bei meinen Athleten sein kann und sie nur phasenweise mit mir arbeiten k\u00f6nnen. Aber das ist kein Problem \u2013 die Trainer werden das ausgleichen. Ich hoffe und bin zuversichtlich, dass wir in zwei Wochen deutlich besser abschneiden werden.“<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Nach vielen Jahren war es endlich wieder so weit: Die besten 6 C-Jugend-Springer Deutschlands, die bei den Wintermeisterschaften \u00fcber 300 Punkte erreicht haben, wurden am Rande des International Youth Diving Meet geehrt. Aus Rostock mit dabei waren Juliana Mank, Malou Klement, Ben Str\u00fcbing und Jan Chrobak. „Eine starke Leistung“, betont WSC-Pressewart Maik Steinhagen und f\u00fchrt aus: „Unsere Sportler durften bei Dresdner Familien \u00fcbernachten \u2013 gro\u00dfes Dankesch\u00f6n f\u00fcr die tolle Gastfreundschaft!“ Neben spannenden Finals standen f\u00fcr die jungen Wasserspringer und -Springerinnen auch Sightseeing und jede Menge Spa\u00df in der wundersch\u00f6nen Stadt Dresden auf dem Programm.
