SWERIMED Beach Cup Schwerin 2025 mit Rekordbeteiligung<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Schwerin <\/strong>– Beachvolleyballfelder soweit das Auge reicht. Das gesamte Wochenende \u00fcber tummelten sich den ganzen Zippendorfer Strand entlang mehrere hundert Sportler:innen und Volley-Fans. Anlass war der SWERIMED Beach Cup 2025. Bereits am Samstagmorgen startete das Freiluftevent bei strahlendem Sonnenschein und sommerlichen Temperaturen mit einem vollen Teilnehmerfeld. „33 Damenteams und 47 Herrenteams sorgten f\u00fcr ein gut gef\u00fclltes Tableau und tolle Stimmung auf und neben dem Sand“, wissen die Organisatoren Christian Braun und Thomas Hildebrandt zu berichten: „Insgesamt durften wir in diesem Jahr \u00fcber 350 Sportlerinnen und Sportler am Strand begr\u00fc\u00dfen \u2013 ein neuer Meilenstein!“<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sportlich ging es an Tag eins bereits hoch her. Wie Christian „Brauner“ Braun erkl\u00e4rt, verliefen die Vorrundenspiele noch weitgehend erwartungsgem\u00e4\u00df, bevor es am Nachmittag dann mit dem 24er Double-Out-Modus in die hei\u00dfe K.o.-Phase ging. Nach vielen spannenden und hochklassigen Matches konnten alle Teilnehmer den Abend gegen 19 Uhr entspannt ausklingen lassen. „Mit Sonnenuntergang, guter Laune, Sand unter den F\u00fc\u00dfen und einem Getr\u00e4nk in der Hand“, wei\u00df der ehemalige Regianalligaspieler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finaltag mit Highlight-Spielen<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Am Sonntag ging es fr\u00fch und fast p\u00fcnktlich weiter. Im Damenfeld marschierten Anna und Laura Kurtze souver\u00e4n ohne Spielverlust ins Finale. Dort trafen sie \u2013 wie bereits im Viertelfinale auf der Winner-Seite \u2013 erneut auf Elisa Lohmann und Kimberly Henkelmann. Und wie es im Sport manchmal kommt: Nach der ersten Niederlage drehte das Duo Elisa\/Kimberly im Finale den Spie\u00df um und sicherte sich in einem packenden Spiel den Turniersieg beim SWERIMED Beach Cup 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bei den Herren \u00fcberzeugten Lucas M\u00e4urer und S\u00f6ren Schr\u00f6der auf ganzer Linie. Ohne Satzverlust spielten sie sich ins Finale und trafen dort auf die erfahrenen Eric Nikolaus und Daniel Sprenger. Auch hier blieb die \u00dcberraschung aus \u2013 Lucas und S\u00f6ren pr\u00e4sentierten sich in Topform und holten sich verdient den n\u00e4chsten gemeinsamen Turniersieg. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rekord beim Kids & Teens Cup<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Ein besonderes Highlight am Sonntag war der Nachwuchsbereich: Mit 38 Kids-Cup-Teams und 21 Teens-Teams wurde auch hier ein neuer Teilnehmerrekord aufgestellt. Dank des engagierten Einsatzes von Andrea und Dr. Steffen Bock sowie Michael Tr\u00e4ger liefen auch diese Turniere reibungslos ab. Am sp\u00e4ten Nachmittag konnten alle Siegerinnen und Sieger geb\u00fchrend geehrt werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dass der Beach Cup jedes Jahr aufs Neue auf die Beine gestellt werden kann, ist besonders auch den zahlreichen Partnern und Unterst\u00fctzenden zu verdanken. Christian Braun und Thomas Hildebrandt betonen in deren Richtung: „Ohne euch w\u00e4re ein solches Wochenende nicht realisierbar.“ Schon jetzt freuen sich die beiden auf das n\u00e4chste Jahr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
