Platz beim Final 8 der DFFL in Dresden"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Dresden\/Neustrelitz <\/strong>\u2013 Die Strelitz Dukes haben bei ihrer ersten Teilnahme am Final 8 der Deutschen Flag Football Liga (DFFL) ein beeindruckendes Kapitel Vereinsgeschichte geschrieben. Das Event fand im Rahmen der FINALS 2025 in Dresden statt, dem gr\u00f6\u00dften deutschen Multisport-Wochenende mit rund 3.500 Athlet*innen in 20 Sportarten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gruppenphase mit Top-Teams<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Vorrundenspiele am Samstag fanden auf mehreren Spielfeldern im Sportpark Ostra statt und wurden von rund 500 Zuschauer*innen verfolgt \u2013 bereits das sorgte f\u00fcr gro\u00dfartige Stimmung. Die Dukes, die zwar verletzungs- und urlaubsbedingt auf Spieler verzichten mussten und nur mit 11 von 15 m\u00f6glichen Spielern nach Dresden reisten, pr\u00e4sentierten sich dennoch mit gro\u00dfem Zusammenhalt, Einsatz und Spielfreude. In einer \u00e4u\u00dferst anspruchsvollen Gruppe trafen sie auf den sp\u00e4teren Deutscher Meister, die Walldorf Wanderers (18:42), die Bronzegewinner Munich Spatzen (27:51) sowie die Kelkheim Lizzards (30:41). Nach drei Niederlagen in der Vorrunde ging es im Spiel um Platz 7 gegen die Duisburg Dragons. In einem hochspannenden Duell behielten die Dukes knapp die Oberhand: 40:39-Sieg zum Abschluss!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Finalspiele wurden am Sonntag in der gro\u00dfen, tempor\u00e4r errichteten Teamsport Arena ausgetragen \u2013 mit rund 1.500 Sitzpl\u00e4tzen, separaten Bereichen f\u00fcr Athlet*innen und Offizielle sowie einem professionellen Rahmen. Die Arena war vollst\u00e4ndig ausgelastet, die Atmosph\u00e4re elektrisierend. Eine Kulisse, die dem jungen Sport gerecht wurde \u2013 und ihm eine B\u00fchne bot, wie man sie sonst nur aus etablierten Disziplinen kennt. Auch medial war das Finale ein Meilenstein: Die Beitrage im ZDF erreichten bis zu 1,72 Millionen Zuschauer*innen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8222;Flag Football w\u00e4chst und rei\u00dft Menschen mit&#8220;<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201eUnser Ziel war eigentlich nur der Klassenerhalt, dass wir in Dresden gegen die besten Teams antreten d\u00fcrfen, ist f\u00fcr uns ein Riesenerfolg. Wir sind stolz auf die Entwicklung der Mannschaft\u201c, so Teammanager und Spieler Valentin Lunkenheimer. \u201eDiese Saison war f\u00fcr uns eine enorme Lernkurve. Wir haben unsere Schw\u00e4chen erkannt, aber auch unsere St\u00e4rken weiterentwickelt. Besonders sch\u00f6n war es, bei den Finals so viele begeisterte Kinder zu treffen, die uns nach Autogrammen und Fotos fragten. In diesem Sinne hebt Studier hervor: &#8222;Wir bedanken uns herzlich bei der EAN GmbH Neustrelitz, bei Illgen Fachgro\u00dfhandel und bei der LVM Versicherung Doreen Pechta f\u00fcr ihre F\u00f6rderung und vertrauensvolle Begleitung \u2013 ohne solche Partnerschaften w\u00e4re unsere Teilnahme in der DFFL nicht m\u00f6glich gewesen. Ein weiterer Dank gilt zudem dem Sanit\u00e4tshaus Konrad, das uns mit medizinischen Produkten optimal versorgt hat.&#8220;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ausblick &amp; Planung<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Mit dem siebten Platz bei den Finals beenden die Dukes ihre erste Saison in der 1. Liga \u2013 deutlich erfolgreicher als erhofft. Nun beginnt die Vorbereitung auf 2026. Studier: &#8222;In der 2. Liga tummeln sich bereits die n\u00e4chsten ambitionierten Teams \u2013 wir sind gespannt, wer im kommenden Jahr mit uns in der DFFL antreten wird.
