DLRG Bergen auf R\u00fcgen blickt bei ihrer Jahreshauptversammlung auf ein engagiertes Vereinsjahr 2024 zur\u00fcck<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Bergen auf R\u00fcgen.<\/strong> Mit einem gro\u00dfen Wellenrauschen begann am 19. September 2025 die diesj\u00e4hrige Jahreshauptversammlung der DLRG-Ortsgruppe Bergen auf R\u00fcgen \u2013 und das im \u00fcbertragenen Sinne. Denn das, was der Verein im Jahr 2024 auf die Beine gestellt hat, kann sich mehr als sehen lassen: Beeindruckende Jugendarbeit, ehrenamtliches Engagement auf h\u00f6chstem Niveau und zahlreiche sportliche Erfolge machten die Versammlung zu einem R\u00fcckblick auf ein lebendiges, aktives Vereinsjahr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In seiner Begr\u00fc\u00dfung erinnerte der Vorstand nicht nur an die Gr\u00fcndung der Ortsgruppe am 19. Januar 1991 \u2013 und somit an 34 Jahre erfolgreiche Vereinsgeschichte \u2013 sondern betonte auch die Bedeutung der DLRG als festen Bestandteil der R\u00fcgener Vereinslandschaft. Dabei wurde deutlich: Obwohl 34 Jahre auf dem Papier schon \u201eetwas\u201c sind, bleibt der Verein jung im Herzen \u2013 vor allem dank seiner engagierten Nachwuchsarbeit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rund 30 Jugendliche befinden sich aktuell im regelm\u00e4\u00dfigen Schwimmtraining \u2013 Tendenz steigend. Ziel ist es, junge Menschen nicht nur sportlich zu f\u00f6rdern, sondern auch zu aktiven Gestaltern des Vereinslebens zu machen. Denn, wie treffend formuliert: \u201eDer Mensch w\u00e4chst mit seinen Aufgaben.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ein Paradebeispiel ist Boris Schadel, der vom Nachwuchsschwimmer zum aktiven Gestalter wurde. Seine Entwicklung und sein Einsatz in der Ausbildung und Jugendarbeit wurden in besonderer Weise gew\u00fcrdigt. Ebenso geehrt wurden Mary und Gerald D\u00f6ring \u2013 eine Familie, die sich vom reinen Mitgliedsein zur aktiven St\u00fctze des Vereins gewandelt hat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trotz coronabedingter Dellen und ver\u00e4nderter Pr\u00fcfungsbedingungen zeigte die Statistik: Die Kurve geht wieder nach oben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • 451 Mitglieder z\u00e4hlte der Verein im Jahr 2024 \u2013 davon 252 aktiv im Sportbetrieb.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • \u00dcber 1.168 Rettungsschwimmer wurden in den letzten Jahren ausgebildet \u2013 ein Durchschnitt von 34 pro Jahr.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Vereinsinterne Wettk\u00e4mpfe wie die Vereinsmeisterschaft (VM) und die vereinsoffene Meisterschaft (VoM) erfreuen sich gro\u00dfer Beliebtheit. Bei der 20. VM wurde mit 66 Teilnehmenden ein neuer Rekord aufgestellt.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Und auch sportlich ging es hoch her: Neue Vereinsrekorde wurden durch Tillmann Schoknecht und Ren\u00e9-Maurice Etzerodt aufgestellt \u2013 ein deutliches Zeichen, dass die Motivation nicht im Wasser versickert ist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Doch die DLRG Bergen ist nicht nur ein Schwimmverein. Die Breitensportangebote wie Frauenfitness, Aerobic oder Volleyball sind wichtige S\u00e4ulen des Vereinslebens. Besonders hervorzuheben ist hierbei D\u00f6rte Thiede, die f\u00fcr ihr ehrenamtliches Engagement mit einer Medaille der Stadt Bergen ausgezeichnet wurde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Zahlreiche Veranstaltungen wie das Vilmschwimmen, Winterschwimm-Camp, Trainingslager, aber auch Weihnachtsfeiern, Kegelabende und der Neujahrsempfang schufen Gemeinschaft und verbanden Generationen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Der Verein wei\u00df, was er an seinen Ehrenamtlichen hat \u2013 und unterst\u00fctzt sie dementsprechend: mit Ausstattung, Schulungen, Fahrtkostenerstattungen, T-Shirts und vielem mehr. \u201eEin Team. Ein Ziel.\u201c \u2013 dieser Leitsatz zog sich wie ein roter Faden durch den gesamten Vorstandsbericht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Auch in Sachen \u00d6ffentlichkeitsarbeit wurde 2024 einiges bewegt: Dank des Einsatzes von Urte und Matthis Fl\u00fcgge sowie Michael Wei\u00dfflog wurden Homepage, Facebook und Instagram stets mit frischen Inhalten versorgt. Gedruckte Flyer, Poster und sogar Kalender sorgten daf\u00fcr, dass die DLRG Bergen immer sichtbar blieb \u2013 online wie offline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Ein Antrag des Vorstands an die Mitgliederversammlung skizzierte klar die n\u00e4chsten Ziele:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Investitionen in Schwimmmaterial, Technik und Ausbildung<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Erhalt und Ausbau der Infrastruktur<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • St\u00e4rkung der Jugendarbeit und Ehrenamtlichkeit<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Bau eines Technik- und Schulungsgeb\u00e4udes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Der Tenor der Jahreshauptversammlung war eindeutig: Nur gemeinsam kann ein Verein wachsen und bestehen. Ob jung oder alt, im Wasser oder an Land \u2013 alle Mitglieder tragen mit ihrem Engagement dazu bei, dass die DLRG Bergen auf R\u00fcgen nicht nur schwimmt, sondern Fahrt aufnimmt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Mit einem herzlichen Dank an alle Aktiven und einem Aufruf zur Mitgestaltung schloss die Versammlung: \u201eLasst uns gemeinsam Wellen schlagen \u2013 weil alle dazugeh\u00f6ren.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n
