16 Athletinnen und Athleten f\u00fcr 2026 berufen \u2013 Vier MV-Aush\u00e4ngeschilder im Perspektivkader<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Der Deutsche Leichtathletik-Verband (DLV) hat seine neuen Kader f\u00fcr das Jahr 2026 ver\u00f6ffentlicht. Insgesamt 455 Leichtathlet:innen wurden in den Bundeskader berufen, diese geh\u00f6ren im aktuellen Turnus entweder dem Olympiakader, dem Perspektivkader oder dem Nachwuchskader 1 an. Weitere 176 M\u00e4nner und Frauen werden im Nachwuchskader 2 gef\u00f6rdert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mecklenburg-Vorpommerns Hochleistungssport steckt derweil weiterhin in einer leichten Krise. So ist bei der Gesamtzahl der berufenen DLV-Kaderathlet:innen ein kontinuierlicher Negativtrend zu beobachten. Das hei\u00dft, aktuell wurden nur elf LVMV-Asse in den Bundeskader berufen, in den Nachwuchskader 2 schafften es f\u00fcnf. Den Status Olympiakader hat 2026 niemand inne. Dennoch konnten sich MVs Hoffnungstr\u00e4ger:innen in der vergangenen Saison international gut in Szene setzen. Dazu geh\u00f6ren Diskuswerferin Claudine Vita (SC Neubrandenburg), Rostocks 400-Meter-Spezialistin Johanna Martin, H\u00fcrdensprinterin Lia Flotow (beide 1. LAV Rostock) sowie Stabhochsprung-Hoffnung Gillian Ladwig (Schweriner SC). Die vier z\u00e4hlen auch 2026 zum erweiterten Kreis der deutschen Top-Athletinnen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Der SC Neubrandenburg dominiert erneut die Landesliste: Neben Vita wurden sechs weitere Talente in NK1 und NK2 berufen \u2013 so Kugelsto\u00dferin Emily Scherf, 400-Meter-L\u00e4ufer Michal Fatyga und die jungen Sto\u00dfer John Christian Schochardt, Johannes Kunkel oder Arvid Ziemann. Auch Jack Gordon Blackburn (400 m) steht als NK2-Athlet im Blickfeld der Bundestrainer. Den 1. LAV Rostock vertreten neben Martin und Flotow auch Pauline Richter (400 m, NK1) und Maria Schnemilich (Siebenkampf, NK1). Ebenfalls aus Rostock kommt 200-Meter-L\u00e4uferin Paula Springstein (Ostsee Sprint- und Laufteam) Sie wird zuk\u00fcnftig als Nachwuchskader 1 gef\u00f6rdert. Aus Schwerin kommt neben Stabhochspringer Gillian Ladwig auch Nachwuchshoffnung Lany Jane Saguan (beide SSC). NK2-Status hat zudem 200-Meter-Spezialistin Greta Linnea Rentzow (SV Medizin Schwerin). Komplettiert wird die MV-Auswahl durch Weitspringer Gian Luca Trotzky von der HSG Uni Greifswald (NK1).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mit Blick auf die insgesamt positive Entwicklung im hiesigen Vereinssport (siehe DOSB-Bestandserhebung<\/a>) kann man aber auch hoffen, dass zuk\u00fcnftig wieder mehr starke Athlet:innen aus Mecklenburg-Vorpommern den Schritt in die nationale und internationale Spitze schaffen. Ausschlaggebender wird aber die zuk\u00fcnftige finanzielle Absicherung der vorhandenen St\u00fctzpunktstrukturen und ein ganz klares Bekenntnis der Bundes- und Landespolitik zum international wettbewerbsf\u00e4higen Leistungssport sein. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Den 16 in die DLV-Kader berufenen M\u00e4nnern und Frauen sei f\u00fcr 2026 jedenfalls schon jetzt maximaler Erfolg gew\u00fcnscht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
