Dabei hat das Team um Spieler und Star-Volley-Gr\u00fcnder Dennis Brosen eine Saison mit zwei Gesichtern hinter sich. Nach einer schwierigen Hinrunde k\u00e4mpfte sich die Mannschaft eindrucksvoll zur\u00fcck und zeigte in der R\u00fcckserie ein ganz anderes Gesicht. Bestes Beispiel: der hart erk\u00e4mpfte 3:2-Erfolg gegen die Freien Volleyballer vom Post-Sportverein Rostock. Hier bewies Kr\u00f6pelin Moral und behielt nach wechselhaftem Spielverlauf im Tiebreak die Oberhand. Auch die knappe 2:3-Niederlage einen Tag sp\u00e4ter beim Ligavize VC Sanitz unterstrich, dass die Mannschaft inzwischen wieder auf Augenh\u00f6he mit den Topteams agieren kann.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Zus\u00e4tzliche Brisanz erh\u00e4lt das bevorstehende Duell durch das klare 0:3 aus dem Hinspiel \u2013 eine Rechnung, die Kr\u00f6pelin nun unbedingt begleichen will. \u201eDon\u2019t stop believin\u2019\u201c \u2013 ganz im Sinne des Lieblingssongs von Coach Brosen d\u00fcrfte der Glaube an den Klassenerhalt im Team fest verankert sein. Mixed-Mannschaft einst der Ausgangspunkt f\u00fcr die Entwicklung von Star Volley, das mittlerweile mit zwei Mixed-Teams sowie jeweils einer Damen- und Herrenmannschaft breit aufgestellt ist. W\u00e4hrend die \u201eStar Volley Queens\u201c j\u00fcngst mit der Vizemeisterschaft in der Landesliga West f\u00fcr Schlagzeilen sorgten und auch die zweite Mixed-Mannschaft als Aufsteiger eine solide Saison spielt, k\u00e4mpft die Erste nun um den Verbleib in der h\u00f6chsten Rostocker Mixed-Spielklasse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Die Voraussetzungen f\u00fcr einen dramatischen Saisonabschluss sind also gegeben. Ein direkter Konkurrent, eine offene Rechnung aus dem Hinspiel und eine Mannschaft, die sich im Saisonverlauf sichtbar gesteigert hat \u2013 mehr Endspiel-Charakter geht kaum. Jetzt liegt es an den Star Volleys, den Comeback-Modus ein letztes Mal zu aktivieren und sich f\u00fcr den Aufwand der vergangenen Wochen zu belohnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
