Rund 100.000 Euro investiert die Lambrechtsgrund Betriebsgesellschaft in die Wiederherstellung der Spielfl\u00e4che. Notwendig geworden war die zwischenzeitliche Umfunktionierung des Stadions, weil durch den Bau des neuen Radsportzentrums MV Parkfl\u00e4chen weggefallen waren. F\u00fcr Veranstaltungen in der benachbarten Sport- und Kongresshalle diente das Stadion daher als Ausweichparkplatz \u2013 ein Zustand, der nicht nur bei Sportlern, sondern auch bei Anwohnern f\u00fcr Kritik sorgte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Insbesondere die zus\u00e4tzliche Verkehrsbelastung in der Von-Flotow-Stra\u00dfe f\u00fchrte zur Gr\u00fcndung einer B\u00fcrgerinitiative. Neben L\u00e4rmbedenken wurden auch Sicherheitsaspekte, etwa f\u00fcr Rettungsfahrzeuge, thematisiert. Zudem forderten Anwohner alternative Konzepte wie ein Park-&-Ride-System mit Shuttleverkehr. Der Konflikt m\u00fcndete schlie\u00dflich in einen Rechtsstreit zwischen Initiative und Stadt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Auch wenn die Arbeiten an der Radsporthalle derzeit gr\u00f6\u00dftenteils still liegen, sollen die Parkpl\u00e4tze unter dem Bauwerk ab Oktober \u2013 p\u00fcnktlich zum Beginn der Hallensaison \u2013 wieder zur Verf\u00fcgung stehen. Ein Teil des zuvor im Stadion verwendeten Schotters wird dabei weiter genutzt. Dennoch k\u00f6nnte es bei Gro\u00dfveranstaltungen auch k\u00fcnftig eng werden, weshalb Besucher verst\u00e4rkt auf \u00f6ffentliche Verkehrsmittel oder das Fahrrad ausweichen sollen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
F\u00fcr die Sportlerinnen und Sportler bedeutet die Entwicklung vor allem eines: die R\u00fcckkehr auf ihre angestammte Anlage. Gerade vor dem Hintergrund knapper Sportst\u00e4tten in Schwerin ist die Wiederfreigabe des Lambrechtsgrunds ein wichtiges Signal. Fu\u00dfballerinnen, Footballer und Leichtathleten k\u00f6nnen damit bald wieder auf einem modernen und hochwertig sanierten Rasen trainieren und Wettk\u00e4mpfe austragen.
