18. Ostsee-Staffelmarathon – mehr als nur SpaĂ
FĂŒr fast 60 Mannschaften war der Staffelmarathon in Dierhagen sicherlich einer der sportlichen Höhepunkte in diesem Jahr. Die tolle Stimmung, gepaart mit der wunderschönen Naturlaufstrecke und der einmaligen AtmosphĂ€re, machten aus dem Staffellauf auch in diesem Jahr ein echtes Erlebnis. Allerdings war fĂŒr das Trainerteam der Laager Laufgruppe bis wenige Minuten vor dem Start nicht klar wer in welchem der fĂŒnf gemeldeten Teams starten wĂŒrde.
Krankheitsbedingte AusfĂ€lle bis kurz vor dem Start und andere Verpflichungen lieĂen das Team schrumpfen, sodass einige Aktive mehrmals starten mussten. Mit dem Startschuss war aber aller Stess verflogen und Jede und Jeder gab sein bestes. Die Start- und Zielrunde ĂŒberquerte die Veranstaltungswiese in Dierhagen â Neuhaus. AnschlieĂend verlief der Kurs, nach einem kurzen Waldabschnitt, direkt zum Ostseestrand. Nach der, fĂŒr die meisten sehr anstrengenden Strandpassage, ging es auf einen Radwanderweg weiter bis zum groĂen Ribnitzer Moor. Die Moordurchquerung geleitete die Ausdauersportler direkt in den Waldabschnitt hinein, der zurĂŒck zur Wechselzone auf die Festwiese fĂŒhrte. Aufgrund der besagten Bedingungen war fĂŒr die Teams der Laager Laufgruppe Team Building angesagt. Besonders der Ausfall einiger leistungsstarker Sportlerinnen und Sportler machte den Kampf um die Siegerpokale unmöglich.
Das Juniorenteam lieà es dennoch richtig krachen. Nach 3:17:41 Stunden liefen die Teammitglieder stolz ins Ziel und erkÀmpften den 2. Rang in ihrer Wertung. Etwas fixer war das MÀnnerteam unterwegs und lief nach sehr soliden 3:12:15 Stunden auf den 4. Rang ihrer Wertung ins Ziel. Die zuverlÀssige Damenfraktion lief nach 3:57:51 Stunden ins Ziel und feierte den 3. Platz. Pro Team durften sich maximal acht LÀuferinnen und LÀufer die Marathondistanz teilen.
